THE PINK HOUSES
At our five Pink Houses in towns along the BR-116, young girls living in situations of risk and vulnerability find safety, friendship, and people they can trust.
Activities like dance, performing arts, beauty therapy and daily ‘conversation circles’ inspire and empower the girls, helping them find the inner strength to take back control of their lives.
PLACES OF SAFETY
Girls are free to express themselves, lower their defences, and have the time and space to discover their worth and potential.
PLACES OF FRIENDSHIP
Our all-female teams create bonds of trust with the girls, helping them face the future with confidence and without fear.
PLACES OF EMPOWERMENT
Our daily conversation circles allow girls to open up, talk together and find the knowledge and strength to take control of their lives.
PLACES OF HOPE
Everything we do in the Pink Houses is designed to bring transformation to the girls’ lives, and break a generational cycle of poverty, exploitation and injustice.
“At the Pink House I feel so loved. When I dance I forget my problems, I laugh so much! I love this house, it’s where I find myself and get to know myself. My life is so much happier since I found Meninadanca.”
